NEMO Arms, a company primarily known for manufacturing AR-pattern rifles and their recoil-reducing BCG/buffer system, has entered the market of double-barreled shotguns. According to the company, their new line of Over & Under shotguns “will tie in nostalgic features of classic shotguns that we all know and love, with the added modern twist of NEMO’s revolutionary technology“. These shotguns are made for NEMO Arms by Italian Bettinsoli.
Many of the metal components of NEMO Arms shotguns (actions, monoblocs, forend hardware, trigger guards and extractors) are made from forgings which arguably makes the parts stronger compared to machining from solid blocks of material. The barrels are made of 42CrMo4 steel, feature laser engraving on the chamber/monobloc area and are threaded for Bettinsoli removable chokes. The furniture is made of Turkish walnut and has an oiled finish. These shotguns are equipped with 5lb mechanical triggers, manual safeties and barrel selectors. They come in TSA-approved Negrini cases.
