      Common questions

Does the Magpul Hunter 700 stock fit my rifle?
The Hunter 700 fits Remington 700 short and long actions and clones (Bergara B-14, most Howa 1500 with the Howa variant), with a Magpul bolt-action magazine well for AICS-pattern PMAGs. The Hunter American fits the Ruger American short action. Ask us to check your action length and barrel contour.
Do I need a licence to buy Magpul accessories in Australia?
No licence is needed for stocks, bipods, slings, sights, grips and rail accessories, and we post them Australia-wide. Magazines for pistols are limited to 10 rounds for sport shooting in NSW; ask before ordering if you are unsure.
Which Magpul bipod should I buy?
The Magpul Bipod is made in M-LOK ($322), 1913 Picatinny ($313) and sling-stud ($330) versions and the MOE Bipod ($204) is the budget option. All are aluminium with adjustable legs; pick the mount that matches your stock.
What is the difference between MS1 and MS3 slings?
The MS1 ($92) is a two-point sling with a quick-adjust slider. The MS3 Gen2 ($136) converts between one-point and two-point using Paraclips or QD swivels. Both suit hunting rifles and straight-pull ARs.
Are Magpul PMAGs legal in NSW?
Magpul PMAG 10-round AR/M4 magazines ($45) are sold for straight-pull AR-pattern rifles. Rifle magazine capacity is not licensed separately in NSW, but the rifle itself must be on your licence and, since the 2026 reforms, straight-pull rifles are Category C. If in doubt, ask us before ordering.
