The Mars mini is a 180 g micro thermal sight that sits on an RMR footprint like a red dot, then converts to a conventional rifle sight with the supplied eyepiece. Inside is a 640 × 512, 60 Hz shutterless core with a laser rangefinder and ballistic calculator, packed into a body barely larger than a pistol optic.
Oneleaf offers 19 mm (1×) and 25 mm (1.6×) lenses; this listing is the 25 mm configuration. The rangefinder reads 5–1,500 m, each 18350 cell runs about 3 hours (three are supplied), and the body is IPX6 rated.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does it compare with the rest of the Oneleaf range?

- Mars mini (this model) – micro thermal sight (pistol & rifle); 640 × 512, 12 µm, <20 mK; 19 / 25 mm; detection Not published; LRF Built in, 5–1,500 m
- Commander NV500 – digital day/night riflescope; 3864 × 2228 Sony STARVIS CMOS; 30 / 50 / 70 mm (2–16×, 4–32×, 6–48×); detection IR to 400 m; LRF Optional module, 5–1,189 m
- Commander NV500 Eagle – wide-view digital day/night riflescope; 3864 × 2228 Sony STARVIS 2 CMOS; 30 / 50 / 70 mm (1.5–12×, 2–16×, 4.5–36×); detection IR to 400 m; LRF Optional module, 5–1,189 m
- Find NV200 – digital day/night binocular; 3864 × 2228 Sony STARVIS CMOS; 50 mm supplied (35/70 mm lenses available); detection IR to 600 m; LRF Optional module, 5–1,000 m
Thermal models see heat and work in total darkness, fog or long grass; the digital day/night models give a full-colour daytime image and use their IR illuminator at night.
How does it mount?
It uses an RMR footprint. Adapters for RMSc, DDP and Glock MOS slides, an RMR pistol plate and a Picatinny rail adapter are in the box. On a rifle, fit the eyepiece barrel for 110 mm eye relief and a magnified, enclosed view.
How far can it see?
Oneleaf does not publish a detection figure for the Mars mini. With a 1× or 1.6× lens it is designed for close and medium range; for longer shots the Mars MT1000LRF's 50 or 75 mm lens is the better choice.
How long does the battery last?
About 3 hours per 18350 cell. Three cells come in the box, and the supplied 18500 extended cap takes a larger cell for longer sessions.
Does it connect to a phone?
Yes, it works with the Oneleaf app.
Can I use a thermal sight for hunting in Australia?
Rules on thermal and night-vision sights differ between states and between public and private land, and pistol use is tightly restricted. Check your state's regulations, and any permit or property conditions, before using it in the field.
