Frequently Asked Questions

What does 8x42 mean?

8 is the magnification and 42 mm is the diameter of each objective lens. Higher magnification brings game closer but shows more hand shake and a narrower view; a bigger objective gathers more light for dawn and dusk. The exit pupil is 5.18 mm — the larger it is, the brighter the image in low light.

Can I use them with glasses?

Eye relief is 21.0 mm. Twist the eyecups down if you wear glasses so you see the full field of view; 15 mm or more generally suits glasses wearers.

Are they waterproof?

Zerotech lists: Yes.

Can it go on a tripod?

Zerotech lists tripod adaptability as: Yes.
