Mount a red dot sight to your CZ Shadow 2 without milling the slide. The CZ Shadow 2 Dovetail Red Dot Mount replaces your rear sight and provides a solid, zero-retaining platform for popular micro red dot optics. The fastest way to get a dot on your Shadow 2 — no permanent slide modifications required.
Red dot optics are legal in IPSC Open division and USPSA Carry Optics and Open. Not legal for IPSC Production or Standard — these divisions prohibit optical sights. Verify your specific optic and mount combination meets your division's weight and dimensional requirements.
Difficulty: Moderate. Requires a sight pusher or brass punch to remove the factory rear sight and press the mount into the dovetail. A sight pusher tool is recommended for the best results. Allow 15–20 minutes. Once fitted, optic mounting takes an additional 5 minutes. Gunsmithing is required to file fit this.
This Dovetail mount replaces the rear sight on standard CZ Shadow 2 models. The Optic Ready mount is designed for CZ Shadow 2 OR models that have a factory optic-ready slide cut.
A properly fitted dovetail mount holds zero reliably for competition use. For maximum rigidity, a milled slide is superior, but the dovetail mount is the practical choice for shooters who don't want permanent slide modifications.
The rear sight is replaced by the mount, so you lose the rear iron sight. Some shooters add a backup sight plate or rely on the front sight for emergency use.

These are the best projectiles. My lithgow 102 topped with a leupold 6HD 4-24 scope with the custom dial is set for these projectiles. I shoot nothing else. They are accurate enough to out shoot others at the range and I can confidently drop a deer out to 400 odd meters with one shot. Highly recommended projectiles
Outstandingly accurate projectile, very consistent base to ogive dimensions across the 6 boxes I purchased. Less than 0.002” variation across the entire lot. Devastating projectile on soft, thin skin game like fox. Perfectly suited to short 22” barreled 22 Creedmoor with muzzle velocity in the 3400fps range.
