Upgrade your magazine handling without the weight penalty — the 2011 aluminium double-stack magazine base pad is precision-machined from 6061 aluminium at just 15g, delivering an extended grip surface with serrations and knurling for confident reloads in any conditions. Built for STI and Bul Armory double-stack magazine tubes, this base pad is IPSC Standard Division legal and available in six anodised colour options.

Key Features

  • 6061 Aluminium Construction (15g) — Lightweight yet durable, adding grip surface without significant weight
  • Serrated & Knurled Grip Surfaces — Serrations on each side plus knurled top and front for positive magazine handling
  • Hard Anodised Finish — Scratch-resistant anodised coating for long-term durability
  • IPSC Standard Division Legal — Fits within IPSC box dimensions for Standard Division compliance
  • Six Colour Options — Black, blue, red, green, silver, and purple for personalised magazine identification

Compatibility

Fits all STI 2011 and Bul Armory 9mm/.38 Super double-stack magazine tubes. This is the Standard Division length base pad — for Open Division extended base pads, see the 2011 Aluminium Open Magazine Base Pad.

Does NOT fit: Single-stack 1911 magazines, SVI magazines, or MBX magazines — these use different base pad dimensions.

Brass vs Aluminium — Which Should You Choose?

Aluminium base pads suit shooters who want an extended grip surface without adding significant weight. If you prefer heavier magazines for faster drops and improved recoil characteristics, consider the 2011 Brass Standard Base Pad (63g) instead.

Division Compliance

  • IPSC Standard Division — Legal. Fits within box dimensions
  • USPSA Limited Division — Legal. Compliant with Limited Division equipment rules
  • 3-Gun — Legal for pistol stages

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Standard and Open Division 2011 base pad?

This Standard Division base pad fits within the IPSC box dimensions at 15g. The Open Division base pad is longer, adds capacity, and is designed for divisions without box restrictions.

Will these fit the 2011 STI & BUL magazines?

Yes — it fits all STI & BUL 2011 double-stack magazine tubes in 9mm and .38 Super, including clones.

Can I use different colours on my magazines for identification?

Absolutely. Many competitors use different colours for magazine identification — for example, distinguishing between 9mm and .38 Super loads, or marking primary magazines versus backups. Six anodised colours are available.

Should I choose aluminium or brass base pads for my 2011?

Aluminium base pads (15g) suit shooters who want an extended grip surface without adding significant weight. Brass base pads (63g) are better if you prefer heavier magazines for faster gravity-assisted drops and improved recoil characteristics.

Will this fit SVI or MBX magazine tubes?

No. This base pad is designed for STI and Bul Armory double-stack magazine tubes only. SVI and MBX magazines use different base pad dimensions.
