      Which Talley rings fit a Tikka T3x?
      Talley makes lightweight alloy ringmounts specifically for the Tikka T3 and T3x dovetail in 1 inch, 30 mm and 34 mm, low to extra-high, plus a Picatinny base for the T3/T3x if you prefer standard rings. The T1x rimfire uses the Talley rimfire rings for Tikka T1x.
      What height Talley rings do I need?
      Pick the lowest height that gives a few millimetres between the objective bell and the barrel: low for objectives up to about 42 mm, medium for 44 to 50 mm, high for 50 to 56 mm and extra-high for large objectives or thick barrels. Tell us the scope model and we will check clearance before you order.
      Are Talley lightweight rings strong enough for magnum calibres?
      Yes. The one-piece design means the ring cannot work loose from a base, and they are used on .300 Win Mag, .338 and .375 rifles routinely. Torque the base screws and ring screws to Talley's specification and use a drop of thread locker on the base screws.
      What is a Talley ID barrel band?
      A machined alloy band that clamps around the barrel to carry a front sling swivel stud, used on rifles with a bipod on the forend stud or on carbon-fibre stocks. They are sized to the barrel diameter, so measure at the fitting point before ordering.
