Hoppes No. 9 Foaming Bore Solvent is a one-step foam cleaner designed to dissolve and remove copper and powder residue from gun bores without the need for brushing. The orange foam dispenses easily with the included tube and works as a visible indicator: it turns blue when copper is being removed and black when powder residue is being removed. Because the formula lifts fouling into the foam, hard scrubbing of the bore is not required.
