The Swarovski dS Gen. III 4-24x50 P is a digital rifle scope that combines a conventional optical sight with a built-in laser rangefinder and automatic ballistic calculation. Once ranged, the scope factors in distance, angle, temperature and air pressure and displays a corrected aiming point directly in the reticle, removing the need for a separate rangefinder or manual holdover calculation. It suits hunters who shoot at varying and sometimes unknown ranges and want confirmation of the correct hold before pulling the trigger.

The scope pairs with the Swarovski Optik Hunting App over Bluetooth to set up rifle and ammunition profiles, record shots and receive firmware updates. It uses a 40mm tube, a 6x zoom range and a 50mm objective, and includes parallax adjustment for a sharp image at distance. As an optical sight rather than a firearm, it does not require a firearms licence to purchase in Australia.
