The Swarovski Z5+ 3.5-18x50 belongs to Swarovski's 30mm-tube hunting scope range, a step up from the Z3/Z5 1-inch scopes in mechanical adjustment range and low-light performance. It suits hunters after a versatile mid-to-long-range scope, with a 50mm objective for a bright image at higher magnification and side parallax adjustment for a sharp picture at distance. A ballistic turret (BT) configuration is available for elevation holdover, alongside standard capped turrets.
The 30mm tube provides ample elevation and windage travel for a considered long zero. As an optical sight rather than a firearm, it does not require a firearms licence to purchase in Australia.
