The Swarovski Z5+ 5-25x56 belongs to Swarovski's 30mm-tube hunting scope range, a step up from the Z3/Z5 1-inch scopes in mechanical adjustment range and low-light performance. It suits longer-range hunting and target work where a higher top-end magnification and a 56mm objective are useful, giving a bright image at 25x and enough reserve for precise aiming at extended distances. A ballistic turret (BT) configuration is available for elevation holdover, alongside standard capped turrets.
Side parallax adjustment keeps the image sharp as range changes, and the ballistic turret option allows the elevation dial to be set up for a specific load. As an optical sight rather than a firearm, it does not require a firearms licence to purchase in Australia.
