This Shadow Systems compact recoil guide rod assembly is the 17-4 stainless steel rod with a 15 lb (light) chrome-silicon spring and black oxide washer, for MR920 owners running light target loads or a compensator that short-strokes the standard 18 lb spring. It also fits Gen 4 and 5 Glock 19, 23, 32 and 38.

The rod is turned from one piece with a cross hole so the screw can be undone without clamping the rod. The spring is made to Shadow Systems' spec for long life under heat; the assembly comes torqued and thread-locked.
