It measures .224" in diameter with a G1 ballistic coefficient of .242, and the varmint and pest shooters who want flat trajectories and explosive expansion will appreciate how flat it shoots.

The V-MAX combines a sharp polymer tip with a streamlined profile for a high ballistic coefficient and a flat-shooting trajectory. A hollow cavity sits between the tip shaft and the swaged lead core; on impact the hard tip drives into that cavity and core, causing violent fragmentation even at terminal velocities as low as 1,600 ft/s. The match-grade AMP jacket is concentric for accuracy at all ranges, and the boat-tail or flat-base design is chosen to suit each calibre and weight.
