The InterLock is a conventional exposed-lead-tip hunting bullet built around a raised ring inside the jacket. That ring is embedded in the one-piece core and keeps core and jacket locked together as the bullet expands, so mass and energy are retained for deep penetration and a broad wound channel. Inner grooves weaken the upper jacket for reliable opening even at longer range, the jacket is tapered for expansion at all practical velocities, and a cannelure gives a consistent crimp on the press.
