The SST (Super Shock Tip) is a polymer-tipped hunting bullet built to deliver heavy shock on impact. The hard tip drives into the lead core like a wedge to start rapid but controlled expansion, and a secant ogive with a boat-tail base gives a flat trajectory and good stability. A mid-body cannelure and the InterLock ring mechanically lock the core to the jacket, which keeps the bullet together during expansion for high weight retention and a good chance of a complete pass-through.
