Hornady's 255 gr lead FP Cowboy in 45 calibre is built for handgun hunting and target work. It measures .454" in diameter with a G1 ballistic coefficient of .117, and it suits revolver shooters, target shooters and cowboy-action competitors.

Hornady lead handgun bullets are cold-swaged for uniform weight and balance and come pre-lubricated. An exclusive knurling system holds an even distribution of lubricating wax over the whole bearing surface, which reduces leading in the barrel. The traditional conical and flat designs are symmetrical and seat properly in authentic revolvers without nicking primers as the cylinder turns, and the Cowboy versions are built to SASS specifications.
