This Hornady 6mm 108 gr ELD Match is a target projectile aimed squarely at target and match shooting. It measures .243" in diameter and carries a G1 ballistic coefficient of .536 (G7 .270), which is what makes it worth loading at distance.

ELD Match bullets are built for accuracy and consistency from bullet to bullet and lot to lot. The Heat Shield tip does not deform from aerodynamic heating, so the meplat is always the same shape, and the patented DVRT (Drag Variability Reduction Technology) tip improves drag uniformity for less dispersion at long range. A secant ogive, optimised boat-tail and highly concentric AMP jacket give a class-leading ballistic coefficient that Hornady measures by Doppler radar, and the precision-swaged lead core keeps the bullet balanced in flight.
