This Hornady 6mm 87 gr Varmint BTHP is a varmint projectile aimed squarely at foxes, rabbits and other small pests. It measures .243" in diameter with a G1 ballistic coefficient of .376, and the varmint and fox shooters using classic varmint rifles will appreciate how flat it shoots.

Hornady traditional Varmint bullets carry a streamlined profile for a flat trajectory over a lead core and a match-grade AMP copper jacket, the original standard set by Joyce Hornady. Most are spire-point, flat-base designs that perform well even at lower velocities and give explosive expansion on small game, which makes them a good fit for older or slower-twist varmint rifles as well as modern ones.
