The Hornady Match Grade .260" neck bushing is the interchangeable sizing bushing that sets neck tension in a Hornady Match Grade full-length or neck-size bushing die for 6mm cartridges. Precision handloaders choose the bushing to suit their brass rather than accepting a fixed die dimension.
Match Grade bushings are self-centring and offered in .001" steps, so you take the neck down just far enough for the tension you want without over-working the brass, which keeps necks consistent and extends case life. As a starting point choose a bushing two to three thousandths under the outside neck diameter of a loaded round; our staff can help you measure and pick a size. Bushings are sold separately from the dies.
