This individual Hornady seating die (die #2) for 38 Special / 357 Magnum is for the handloader who needs one die rather than a full set, whether to replace a damaged die or build a custom set. It fits any standard 7/8"-14 press.

Hornady seating dies use an in-line system that holds the bullet, case neck and floating steel seating stem in alignment in a sleeve before the bullet enters the neck, with a fine seating adjustment screw and o-ring compression lock so the setting holds. A built-in crimp is provided for cannelured bullets. The die carries a Sure-Loc lock ring with wrench flats and is guaranteed by Hornady against breaking or wearing out in normal use. Confirm the die matches the series of your existing set with our staff.
