The Hornady Lock-N-Load deluxe die wrench is the spanner for Hornady dies and presses that fits lock rings, spindle locks and die flats, and holds a shell plate still while it is changed. It suits any handloader running Hornady Custom Grade dies or a Lock-N-Load AP.

Hornady lists the deluxe wrench as the tool that keeps the shell plate from rotating while you change plates and tighten the main press screw, adjusts the spindle lock and lock rings, and tightens or loosens the die flats, so one wrench covers most bench adjustments without pliers marking the parts. The store item number differs by a digit from Hornady's listing (396492); our staff can confirm the version.
