Handloaders setting up for 10mm Auto / 40 S&W get a complete Hornady Custom Grade 3-die set: the dies to size and decap, flare the case mouth and seat and crimp the bullet, all threaded 7/8"-14 for any standard press.
Most Hornady pistol sizing dies carry a titanium-nitride sizing ring that is harder than carbide, so cases size without lubricant and without scratching. The expander die puts a slight, consistent flare on the case mouth so bullets start straight, and the seater uses Hornady's in-line system with a floating alignment sleeve and a separate crimp adjustment that changes the crimp without altering seating depth. The taper-crimp seater removes the case-mouth flare and crimps in the same stroke, which helps feeding in semi-automatics. Sure-Loc lock rings with wrench flats hold the settings, and Hornady guarantees the dies against breaking or wearing out in normal use. Shell holders are sold separately.
