The Hornady expander die for 458 Lott puts a slight, even flare on the case mouth of this straight-walled big-bore case so a bullet can be started square before seating. It is the middle die of a three-die set, sold on its own for 458 Lott handloaders replacing or adding one.

Hornady's standard expanding dies bell the case mouth just enough for the bullet to enter without shaving jacket or lead, and the amount of flare is adjustable so brass is not over-worked. Standard 7/8"-14 thread with a Sure-Loc lock ring with wrench flats. Confirm it matches the series of your existing dies with our staff.
