The Hornady bench rest metering insert is the micrometer metering unit for the Lock-N-Load Bench Rest Grade powder measure, for precision handloaders who want to log charge settings and return to them exactly.

The micrometer scale gives a positive reference for every adjustment, so a load worked up in one session can be dialled back in months later. It pushes into the measure with the button on the metering chamber like any other insert, which means a spare insert can be kept preset for each favourite load. Made for the Bench Rest Grade measure; it is not the insert for the standard Lock-N-Load measure.
