The Hornady 22 calibre neck-turning mandrel (0.221") fits the Hornady Neck Turn Tool and supports the inside of the case neck while the cutter turns the outside, for precision handloaders uniforming 22 calibre brass.

Neck turning evens out case-wall thickness at the neck so bullet grip and release are the same on every round, which pays off in tight-necked chambers and precision rifles. The Neck Turn Tool includes mandrels for 22 calibre, 6mm, 6.5mm and 30 calibre; other calibres, including this one, are sold separately. Necks must be expanded to suit the mandrel before turning; ask our staff about the matching expander.
