Handloaders turning 35 calibre case necks on the Hornady Neck Turn Tool need this 0.356" mandrel, which the neck rides on so the cutter removes an even skim of brass all the way round.

Neck turning evens out case-wall thickness at the neck so bullet grip and release are the same on every round, which pays off in tight-necked chambers and precision rifles. The Neck Turn Tool includes mandrels for 22 calibre, 6mm, 6.5mm and 30 calibre; other calibres, including this one, are sold separately. Necks must be expanded to suit the mandrel before turning; ask our staff about the matching expander.
