Hornady powder bushing #507 is a fixed-volume charge bushing for the Hornady 366 Auto shotshell press, and the number tells the shotgun reloader the inside diameter: .507". Each bushing throws one set volume of powder every stroke.

Hornady publishes a chart of the charge each bushing throws with common shotgun powders; the figures are averages measured after a full loading cycle and vary with technique and the powder lot, so always weigh the charge on a scale before loading a batch. The chart is for the 366 Auto and Apex loaders only, as other presses agitate powder differently.
