The Hornady large primer pocket uniformer cuts every large primer pocket to the same depth and a flat bottom, for precision handloaders who want primers seated to the same depth in every case. It fits Hornady hand and powered case-prep tools.

Primer pockets vary in depth from the factory, and a uniform pocket lets each primer seat to the same firm stop, which evens up ignition. The uniformer threads 8-32 for the universal handle, Quick Change hand tool, Case Prep Trio and Power Case Prep Center. A small primer version is sold separately.
