The Hornady large primer pocket reamer head cuts the crimp out of large primer pockets on once-fired military brass, so handloaders can reprime cases that would otherwise crush a primer. It is the replacement or spare cutter for the reamer package.

The 8-32 thread fits the Hornady universal handle, Quick Change hand tool, Case Prep Trio and Power Case Prep Center. A few turns removes the crimp ring and leaves a clean, correctly sized pocket; a small primer head is also available. Like the rest of Hornady's reloading range it is made to last the life of the bench, and our staff can check the item number against your equipment before you order.
