The Hornady Rapid Rack for AR-15 rifles in 223 Rem / 5.56 is a bright empty-chamber indicator that doubles as a load-assist, for shooters who store a rifle with a charged magazine and a visibly empty chamber. It is a safety and range tool, not a firearm part.

The cartridge-shaped body sits in the chamber with the coloured lever protruding from the ejection port, so anyone can see at a glance the chamber is empty. Close the bolt over it and fit a loaded magazine; when the rifle is needed, grab the lever and pull straight back and the Rapid Rack drops clear while the bolt runs forward to chamber a round. It also serves as a clear chamber flag on the range.
