For the 7.62x39mm handloader, this Hornady Custom Grade 2-die set covers the two jobs that matter: bringing fired brass back to size and seating the bullet straight. It threads 7/8"-14 to fit standard presses.

Custom Grade New Dimension dies are machined and polished internally to a smooth finish so cases size without sticking, and Hornady guarantees them never to break or wear out in normal use. The full-length sizer uses the Zip Spindle, which locks positively and lets you fine-adjust the decapping stem without slippage, and an elliptical expander that eases neck sizing and reduces case stretch. The seating die holds bullet, case neck and seating stem in line inside a floating sleeve before the bullet enters the neck, with a fine seating adjustment and o-ring compression lock. Both dies have Sure-Loc lock rings with wrench flats and come in a compartmented storage box. Shell holders are sold separately.
