The Hornady 17/20 calibre Zip Spindle is the fine decapping spindle for Hornady 17 and 20 calibre Custom Grade sizing dies, for handloaders of 17 Hornet, 17 Rem, 204 Ruger and similar cases who need to replace or update the spindle.

The Zip Spindle carries light threads that lock positively against the spindle lock to stop slippage, and it can be turned for incremental adjustment or zipped up and down for large changes. This is the spindle supplied in Hornady's 17-20 Zip Spindle kit; it takes the 17/20 headed decapping pin, sold separately.
