The Hornady Sure-Loc lock ring is the die lock ring that clamps around the whole die body rather than biting the threads, for handloaders who want precise, repeatable settings on any standard 7/8"-14 die or accessory.

The locking screw tightens the ring without touching the threads, so there is no damage from pliers or set screws, and constant pressure across the threads holds the ring where you set it. Wrench flats let you remove and replace a die with a spanner rather than mauling the ring. Sold singly; a six-pack is also available.
