The Hornady taper crimp die for 450 Bushmaster removes the flare from the case mouth and crimps it onto the bullet while keeping the sharp mouth edge that the cartridge headspaces on. It suits handloaders running 450 Bushmaster through a semi-automatic or single-shot where feeding and consistent headspace matter.

A taper crimp squeezes the case mouth against the bullet rather than rolling it over, which is the correct crimp for cartridges that headspace on the case mouth and improves feeding in autoloaders. Run it as a separate final station after seating so seating depth and crimp can be set independently. Standard 7/8"-14 thread with a Sure-Loc lock ring.
