The Sierra 1039 is a 39 grain 20 calibre (.204) BlitzKing, Sierra's polymer-tipped varmint bullet (Tipped VarmintKing, TVK) for pest controllers loading for the 204 Ruger. The 39 grain #1039 is the 20 calibre BlitzKing for the 204 Ruger, built for very high velocity and explosive results on foxes and rabbits.

The BlitzKing's polymer tip streamlines the nose for a better ballistic coefficient and drives expansion on impact, while the light jacket ensures explosive results on foxes, rabbits and similar pests at high velocity. The tip also protects the nose from damage in the magazine, so the bullet flies as consistently as it was made. Like all varmint bullets it is not intended for game animals; keep it for pest control and match the weight to your rifle's twist.
