Sierra's 40 grain 22 calibre (.224) VarmintKing (#1385) is a hollow point for foxes, rabbits and other pests, built for fast, explosive expansion from 22 centrefires such as the 223 Rem and 22-250. The 40 grain #1385 hollow point is a light, very fast varmint bullet for the 223 Rem and 22-250.

VarmintKing bullets are built with a thin jacket and soft core so they expand violently on impact, giving quick, humane kills on small pests and reducing the chance of a ricochet on hard ground. They are not a game bullet: at close range on anything larger than a fox the light jacket will not hold together, so keep them for the pest work they were designed for and match the weight to your twist rate and velocity.
