The Sierra 1616 is a 90 grain 25 calibre (.257) BlitzKing, Sierra's polymer-tipped varmint bullet (Tipped VarmintKing, TVK) for pest controllers loading for the 25-06, 257 Roberts and other quarter-bores. The 90 grain #1616 BlitzKing is a mid-weight tipped varmint bullet for the 25-06 and 257 Roberts with a better ballistic coefficient for longer shots.

The BlitzKing's polymer tip streamlines the nose for a better ballistic coefficient and drives expansion on impact, while the light jacket ensures explosive results on foxes, rabbits and similar pests at high velocity. The tip also protects the nose from damage in the magazine, so the bullet flies as consistently as it was made. Like all varmint bullets it is not intended for game animals; keep it for pest control and match the weight to your rifle's twist.
