Sierra's 107 grain 6.5mm (.264) MatchKing (#1715) is a hollow point boat tail built for the 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5x55 and other 6.5mm cartridges, and it carries the accuracy reputation that has made the MatchKing a standard in competition. The 107 grain #1715 is the lightest of the 6.5mm MatchKings, an easy-to-drive choice for the 6.5 Creedmoor, 260 Rem and 6.5x55 at 300 to 600 yard distances.

MatchKing jackets are drawn thin and held to very tight concentricity, with a small hollow point meplat that keeps weight and balance consistent from bullet to bullet. They are a target design: Sierra does not recommend MatchKings for most hunting, and on varmints they will not open as reliably as the lighter-jacketed VarmintKing and BlitzKing bullets.
