The Sierra 1915 is a 150 grain 7mm (.284) MatchKing hollow point boat tail, a match projectile for target shooters loading for the 7mm-08, 7x57 and 7mm magnums. The 150 grain #1915 is a favourite with rifle silhouette shooters on the chicken, pig and turkey banks, and suits the 7mm-08 and 7x57 as well as the larger 7mm cases.

MatchKing jackets are drawn thin and held to very tight concentricity, with a small hollow point meplat that keeps weight and balance consistent from bullet to bullet. They are a target design: Sierra does not recommend MatchKings for most hunting, and on varmints they will not open as reliably as the lighter-jacketed VarmintKing and BlitzKing bullets.
