A flat-base spitzer for the 303 British and other .311 bore rifles, the 180 grain Sierra Pro-Hunter #2310 is the traditional hunting bullet in Sierra's range. The 180 grain #2310 uses the .311 diameter common to the 303 British, 7.7 Arisaka, 7.62x54R and 7.62x39, with a double-taper heavy jacket and a profile that feeds cleanly in semi-automatic rifles; slug the bore if you are unsure of your rifle's groove diameter.

Pro-Hunter bullets use a flat base and Sierra's double-tapered jacket for controlled expansion and deep penetration on medium and heavy game at short to medium range, and their short length for weight helps accuracy and stability.
