Built for the 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5x55 and other 6.5mm cartridges, the 130 grain Sierra Tipped MatchKing #7430 is a match bullet with a resin tip that cuts drag and improves feeding in magazine rifles. The 130 grain #7430 was introduced in 2015 and is a natural fit for the 6.5 Creedmoor and 260 Rem in a 1:8 or faster twist barrel.

The tip reduces drag for a higher ballistic coefficient than the equivalent hollow point MatchKing and gives reliable feeding from box magazines. Sierra specifies a barrel twist of 1:8 in or faster for this bullet. Like the rest of the MatchKing line these are target bullets and Sierra does not recommend them for most hunting; on varmints they will not open as reliably as the VarmintKing and BlitzKing designs.
