Sierra's 160 grain 7mm (.284) TMK (#7660) adds an acetal resin tip to the MatchKing design, giving competitors in the 7mm-08, 7x57 and 7mm magnums a higher ballistic coefficient and cleaner magazine feeding. The 160 grain #7660 was added to the TMK line in November 2015 and suits the 7mm-08, 280 Rem and 7mm magnums for mid to long-range target work.

The tip reduces drag for a higher ballistic coefficient than the equivalent hollow point MatchKing and gives reliable feeding from box magazines. Like the rest of the MatchKing line these are target bullets and Sierra does not recommend them for most hunting; on varmints they will not open as reliably as the VarmintKing and BlitzKing designs.
