Sierra's 125 grain 30 calibre (.308) TMK (#7725) adds an acetal resin tip to the MatchKing design, giving competitors in the 300 AAC Blackout and lighter 30 calibre loads a higher ballistic coefficient and cleaner magazine feeding. The 125 grain #7725 is the tipped version of the flat-base 300 AAC Blackout MatchKing, with the tip lifting the ballistic coefficient for AR and bolt-action shooters in lighter 30 calibre chamberings.

The tip reduces drag for a higher ballistic coefficient than the equivalent hollow point MatchKing and gives reliable feeding from box magazines. Like the rest of the MatchKing line these are target bullets and Sierra does not recommend them for most hunting; on varmints they will not open as reliably as the VarmintKing and BlitzKing designs. Sierra introduced this bullet in 2015.
