The Sierra 8835 is a 185 grain 45 calibre (.4515) GameKing jacketed hollow point, a boat tail hunting bullet for the 45 ACP and 45 Colt. The 185 grain #8835 is a redesign of Sierra's original #8800 with a smoother bearing-surface transition, rounder ogive and new nose cavity for reliable expansion at 45 ACP velocities; it also suits the 45 Auto Rim and, with care, the 45 Colt.

GameKing bullets pair a boat tail base with Sierra's tapered hunting jacket, so they hold a flatter trajectory and retain more energy at distance than a flat-base bullet while still expanding and penetrating on game.
