T1x Hunter

T1xHunter is a natural addition to theT1xfamily. The models follows it's bigger sibling features as a classic tool for small game hunting and target shooting. Symmetry design, checkered pattern and a fine finish are guaranteed.

Classic design combined with modern rifle engineering: A wooden stock with a classic design never goes out of fashion. The traditional stock design ensures good shooting ergonomics. Checkering's guarantee a good grip meaning you can be sure of the shot.

Stability without unnecessary weight: Its unique barrel has a cross-over profile, which offers you the benefits and stability of a heavier barrel without noticeably increasing the overall weight.

Flush magazine: The elegant look of the rifle is achieved with a traditional wooden stock and a short magazine that sits flush with the stock. The magazine still has the capacity to take 5 rounds of 22 LR or 6 rounds of 17 HMR.

T1x action compatible with T3x Lite stocks: T1x Hunter barreled action is compatible with T3x Lite and T3x UPR rifle stocks. The T3x and T1x platform offers versatile opportunities to grow as a shooter and hunter. T1x Hunter stock is specific for T1x action.

Cold hammer forged barrel: Cold hammer forging produces accurate and durable barrels. During cold hammer forging, Tikka barrels are hammered from all sides against the mandrel inside the barrel, transferring the mirror image of the rifling machined on the surface of the mandrel. Cold hammer forged barrel gives you out of the box accuracy without the need for breaking in the rifle.

The action is designed for accuracy: Extremely rigid action with the same footprint as its bigger sibling T3x bolt. The bolt face and extractor claw hold tightly on the empty case while extracting and mechanical ejection makes sure that the case is ejected every time. With 45° opening angle leaving plenty of room for handling the bolt.

Feel the right moment: In every shooting situation the rifle is always moving slightly, especially when pulling the trigger. This is why it is critical to have the rifle trigger manufactured according to very tight tolerances. Minimal rifle trigger lock time decreases the time between trigger engagement, trigger break and the impact of the firing pin on the primer. This results in excellent rifle trigger control and greater potential for accuracy.
