Hoppes G96 is a water-based, biodegradable cleaner and degreaser formulated for metal and other hard surfaces on firearms. It removes hydrocarbon and other organic residues as well as inorganic material, and is non-corrosive to a wide array of metals, plastics, rubber and other materials—making it suitable for routine exterior cleaning and prep work before refinishing.

  • Recommended for use prior to bluing — helps prepare surfaces for finishing.
