Howa's black Hogue stock for the long action 1500 is the rubber-overmoulded synthetic stock from the Howa Hogue rifle line, the practical choice for pest controllers and hunters who work in wet country.
Howa describes the Hogue stock as pillar bedded with a rubber overmould and a recoil pad. The barrel channel suits Howa's standard sporter contour; heavy-barrel rifles need the HB version. Barrelled action, bottom metal and magazine are not included. On the factory Hogue rifle Howa pairs this stock with its cold-hammer-forged barrel, forged bolt and HACT two-stage trigger, and the same stock drops onto any standard Howa 1500 barrelled action with the matching action length and barrel contour.
