Precision-machined to work seamlessly with Boss aluminium and brass magwells, it ensures reliable magazine insertion every time — no catching, no fumbling, just clean reloads under match pressure. Available in six anodised colour options.
This base pad does not add capacity — it is a plus-zero design. Legal for IPSC Production, Standard, and Open divisions as well as USPSA Production, Limited, and Open divisions. No capacity concerns in any division.
Important: This base pad is designed specifically for use with Boss Components magwells. If you're not running a Boss magwell, see our CZ Shadow 2 Plus Zero Extended Magazine Base Pad instead.

Does this add magazine capacity?
No. This is a plus-zero base pad — it replaces the factory base pad without adding rounds. It's legal in all IPSC and USPSA divisions.
Will this work without a Boss magwell?
It's designed specifically for Boss magwell dimensions. Without a Boss magwell, we recommend our standard plus-zero base pad instead.
Does this fit Mec-Gar magazines?
This base pad is designed for factory CZ Shadow 2 magazines used with Boss magwells. For Mec-Gar magazine base pads, see our Mec-Gar CZ Shadow 2 Aluminium Basepad or Mec-Gar CZ Shadow 2 Brass Basepad.
Which magwell should I pair this with — aluminium or brass?
Aluminium if you want speed and minimal weight. Brass if you want added mass for recoil control. Both work perfectly with this base pad.

These are the best projectiles. My lithgow 102 topped with a leupold 6HD 4-24 scope with the custom dial is set for these projectiles. I shoot nothing else. They are accurate enough to out shoot others at the range and I can confidently drop a deer out to 400 odd meters with one shot. Highly recommended projectiles
Outstandingly accurate projectile, very consistent base to ogive dimensions across the 6 boxes I purchased. Less than 0.002” variation across the entire lot. Devastating projectile on soft, thin skin game like fox. Perfectly suited to short 22” barreled 22 Creedmoor with muzzle velocity in the 3400fps range.
