The Lyman Decapping Rod Assembly is designed to improve case neck handling during resizing by combining a super-hard carbide expander button with an adjustable positioning sleeve. The carbide button floats free on the rod for self-centering in the case neck and is intended to offer easier extraction through case necks, which helps prevent case stretching and can lessen the need for trimming—extending case life.
