Precision cleaning rod for rifles that combines carbon-fiber resilience with a smooth, ergonomic handle. The carbon-fiber shaft resists scratching like stainless steel and avoids embedding abrasive particles the way coated rods can; it also flexes and returns to straightness for safe use in rifled bores. Tipton supplied similar rods to US military armorers for demanding service conditions.
